TYRANT DOSSIER: WARDEN
Yima Family internal use only. Leaks will be detected and summarily punished.
SPECIES: Unknown (Construct?)
ALIASES/FORMER NAMES: Panopt
HEIGHT: ~5’5″ diamater (In current form)
AGE: ~53-114
NOTABLE CHARACTERISTICS: Covered in eyes of various sizes, surveys all their territory simultaneously through unknown means
POLITICAL STANDING:
Mutual indifference with Basilisk
Mutual indifference with Inkling
Mild friction with Litany
TERRITORY: One (1) planet, roughly 9400km in diameter; largely-featureless surface, extensive tunnels within, Warden at center
Assortment of space stations and transit hubs
ANALYSIS: Warden’s a weird tyrant. He has no ambition for conquest, lets foreign communities thrive in his territory, and welcomes the most wretched and useless. His planet is a beacon for refugees, craving the safety of an indestructible cage. Warden’s rules are few, clear, and enforced without hesitation. Rule of law is not a farce, with ambiguous codes permitting the arrest of anyone; it is deadly-serious and enacted without appeal.
His world is a dumping ground for criminals of overcrowded polities. Almost no news flows from Warden, censored or otherwise, but presumably the criminals and refugees are kept apart.
Warden’s world would be a wealth of sociological data, but espionage warrants death and never goes unnoticed.
RECENT DEVELOPMENTS: Warden refused to sign onto Litany’s plan. Beyond that, they have no known treaties, military or otherwise.
